Beat all chapters on hard aw yeah.

I got incredibly "unlucky" and it made the final Sephiroth fight like ten times harder than it needed to be. Catastrophe actually KO'd two of the whispers, and it lead to Barret being in my final party over Aerith. She had my cure all and is all around better equipped. I wound up losing once because Barret didn't even have revive or heal. Luckily Tifa + instant limit break item + haste wound up carrying me almost by herself. I don't like that I can't just pick my party there at the end.

Now I just need three more dresses and one more weapon skill for the platinum. I somehow wasn't paying attention and didn't realize I was missing one until just now!

I beat the summons gauntlet (which was a ton of fun)! Now I just need to finish the last two chapters on hard and get the final three dresses, so the platinum is definitely in reach.

Nothing I own again. One of them I still plan to get but definitely not going to have the ability to get it over this next month. Just another moment where I hope eventually we implement something where we can nominate already done games.

This would maybe be a cool idea, actually. Do it normally and then maybe one "throwback" or something. There are a lot of games I was thinking about nominating, but then I check the list and see they've already been picked a year or two ago.

I remember Guacamelee quite a lot so I would disagree with that one. Something about the combat and platforming challenges just clicked for me, and I still remember some of the better platforming segments while I was going for 100%.

Looking back, I think the game I enjoyed the most that I remember the least about is one of the two Assassin's Creed 2 sequels. I have a lot of memories of AC2, but the sequels I am really struggling to remember anything in single player. Multiplayer was a lot of fun for me, but the stories must not have stuck out all that well.

It has been tremendously disappointing the amount of anti-Semitism on Twitter the past week or so thanks to a loud influential collection of idiots making their views public.

Obviously it has been a problem for a while now but people have definitely been more emboldened since Desean Jackson went crazy.

Oh I didn't think he was lying. It is just a weird thing that I think I always took for granted. I've always lived in a big city or a suburb within quick driving distance from a big city, so it was something I had somehow never really thought about until right now.

All supermarkets in my area have at least one huge aisle (both sides). There are a couple with two, where one is all Hispanic, and the other is basically "everywhere else". I legitimately thought this was just something everywhere had.

Yeah crane didnt bother me at all. Im near the end of Chapter 14 right now and honestly I havent really been annoyed by anything on the hard run so far.

Interesting about the speed running stuff, because I didnt see any pause menu tricks. This was like three weeks ago or so I watched my last speed run so tech probably has already advanced since then.

Essentially what you do is walk through those barriers that occasionally pop up. You walk sideways to them and then sprint through. Ive seen speed runs do it before.

i would doubt itd help on hard though. The completion trigger is at the end of the chapter, and you straight up skip that. I could be wrong though so good luck if you try it out! The skip itself looks pretty easy.

(I think its only for two chapters though so I dunno how much it would help)

As long as they keep launching haymakers in the direction of Trump and vulnerable senate republicans, they're more than welcome a seat at the table. Like Jakyl said, they're being useful right now and I don't care what their long term goals are.

Plus, I feel like if this was just that easy as "AHA BETRAYAL IN 2024!", they wouldn't have just launched that ad targeting all the "normal" republicans which is like the entirety of senate republicans. There are very few republicans not tainted by Trump, so if they want to burn down the entire party and start over, by all means.
